Update
We went for the cardiac cath this morning. It was worse than we thought, he has 5 blockages. The doctor who did the cath told me it was a miracle he was still alive. His Aortic Artery is 90% blocked, three of the blockages are 80% and one is 100%. They admitted him, I have to be at the hospital at 4:30 a.m if I want to see him before they take him to surgery. Needless to say I will be there, they say the surgery will take approximately 6 hours, then a few days in ICU and probably a week before he comes home.

Oh wow Faerie! Thoughts and prayers are coming your way!! ((hugs))
ReplyDeleteI know you are probably very stressed right now. Please take care of yourself too, so you can be strong for him.
Keep us updated when you can on how everything is going.
<3 -Emi,
Wow! And not a good wow! Sorry that his heart is not doing well, but hope and pray the surgery will be a success.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Kitty
Thanks for letting us know faerie considering the amount of worry you must be feeling right now. Know that we will all be thinking about you, both, and hope things go well tomorrow. Stay positive ok.

I can't believe you found the time to keep us posted. I continue to pray for you and your family. At least now you know and you know it can be fixed. Keep believing in miracles. While you are waiting tomorrow get a picture in your head of what the two of you will be doing when you're much older and all this is behind you.
ReplyDeleteOh Faerie, I'm sorry that the news wasn't good. You know, just last year my dad had severe blockages and needed open heart surgery. It was scary, but he came through with flying colors. I'm hoping and praying for the same for your husband. (((hugs)))
ReplyDeleteYou will both be in my prayers, hugs
ReplyDeleteThank goodness it was discovered and is being treated. Sending warm thoughts to you, Elysia
ReplyDeleteOh Faerie, we are sorry it was worse than you both thought, but glad that he is in the safest place possible. We will be praying for you both tomorrow and I'm thinking of you tonight. I know it is of no comfort tonight while you are so overwhelmed, but these doctors are really good and can do amazing things.
ReplyDeletePrayers coming to you all!! I'm sending good thoughts your way...along with some armor to help keep you up on your feet. Hang in there! He will be fixed up in no time!
ReplyDeletePreayers, hugs and good thoughts. If the doctores did not think they could fix him, they would not try.....abby
ReplyDeleteI woke up this morning thinking 'I need to email Faerie' guess I was right. Maybe I'm the eternal optimist but I'm sitting here thinking how wonderful they found out at the hospital and not after a major heart attack at home!
ReplyDeleteI'm soooo sorry you are both having to deal with this but so happy it is getting taken care of. You are not alone. I'm envisioning you both in a few weeks as Musicman begins to feel better and better. Maybe a good firm recovery from him will get you friend with the same problem to reconsider. I know how covered up you will be but I hope you can keep in touch like this too. I really do want to know how you are both doing.
Hugs,
PK
