A Few Days

Aaahh, what a difference a few days can make.

Musicman is finally really making some significant progress. He has had more than one day in a row of feeling better. YAY.

I can feel his strength again, I love it.

I am still reading somewhat sporadically, and obviously not posting regularly. Anything like a normal schedule of any kind is still out the window. But I'm hopeful that will soon work itself out.

Blogger is still being a butt and not letting me comment on some of the blogs. Can I pout because I can't talk to my friends? LOL. Seriously, any ideas or suggestions on how to fix it are welcome.

I was recently emailing with a friend about how much I am learning about myself from the experience of blogging and the people in this community. I have read several very thought provoking posts lately. The kind that give you that aha moment and things just kind of click. Of course they also inspire deeper thought, another step down the road, another patch of fog filled with questions.

As I continue to think and work things out I am now in the unique position of having Musicman's undivided attention, and him healthy enough to listen. I am not above seducing my husband and have started a campaign to captivate his attention. It is working wonderfully well. Did you know that if you "parade" around all day in Tinkerbell sleep shorts and a cami with otk socks and wonderfully fuzzy slippers it can be considered teasing?  Did you know that teasing can get you spanked?

Yeah, I knew, yeah it was soooo worth it. Yum, yum.
Yeah, I will do it again.

I also discovered that the little heart shaped pillow they gave him at the hospital to use when he coughed feels really good to kneel on. I have a bad knee, kneeling has been a thing of the past for several years now. I think I'm gonna keep that pillow. Heeheehee.

    1. I think I am really gonna like that pillow, and since he can't really run away right now he is easy to captivate, lol.

  5. This sounds so good! You sound more happy and relaxed than you have in a long time. And we all know the reason why. I may have to get me a pillow, my knees are shot too.

Can't help you with blogger, it usually corrects itself. I haven't had any problems so far but I know several have.

    1. Girl, this is the most amazing pillow. I've had so many surgeries on my knee and really couldn't kneel at all.

I feel like I can finally breathe again, things are starting to look up and hey, maybe soon I can actually get back on topic, lol.

I switched to google chrome and things are better now. Yay.

  6. Oh, you sound so happy and I am so happy for you and Musicman. I am not sure even the pillow would help me. It's not so muck the kneeling it's the getting up. I do the tease thing too.
Glad it works well for you also.
Blogger - still having the same difficulty. I've noticed it will take the comment, you just can't see it. Don't get it, don't try I'm just always glad its not just me.

    1. Thanks Sunnygirl, I am happy, we are making solid progress now after a few misteps. I admit I have always been a tease, funnily enough he doesn't mind a bit. Of course I never tease anyone but him.

I changed to google chrome from internet explorer and that seems to have fixed the problems with the comments for me.

  7. This made me smile Faerie...cause you're finding times to smile. Yeah, that's really cheesy, but I'm okay with cheesy today. Go taunt your man!

  8. LOL, the pillow will come in handy for sitting on after that spanking too!! Glad things are looking brighter for you both. Might be an idea to ask Bonnie, or Hermione, or Ronnie...they know most things about Blogger!!! Sometimes, if it takes the comment, it blips and puts it into an "awaiting moderation" tab for the blog owner, even if that owner hasn't asked for comment moderation...that has been my experience...I suddenly noticed 2 or 3 comments in mine, and I have NEVER asked for my comments to be approved first, therefore never checked that tab! SO I had to ok them, and it still happens randomly. Maybe the blog owner hasn't noticed they are there, as I didn't? xxxx

    1. Awaiting moderation tab???? Hunh? Guess I should look for that, lol.

Welcome back, hope you had a great trip, I haven't been reading as much and haven't gotten much chance to hear how your trip was. Great I hope.

  9. Faerie, I'm so glad to see this happier post. I'm glad Musicman is feeling better and glad to hear you are getting your "tease" on! LOL

Blogger is being a bugger for me, but not with comments. My feed isn't showing everyone, and the posts seem old, but when I go to their pages, it's a new post! I've even gotten a page not found error more than once and I KNOW the blog is still there... Weird for sure!

    1. Bad enough I don't have much time to read and comment, but then to not be able to comment? Urrgh!!!

I think I got it fixed though and hopefully will get caught up on things soon.

Take care of yourself hun, I've not been through what you are experiencing so don't have any advice to offer. But I'm thinking of you and hope things work out for you.

  10. This post made me smile. Oh Faerie, I'm so happy for you and your Musicman. :)

I keep reading about others having trouble with blogger, but I haven't really. I'm wondering if that's because I use Google Chrome instead of Internet Explorer? Blogger has made some changes recently and perhaps they aren't as compatible with other browsers. I don't really know, but that's my guess.

  11. faerie,

Daddy says blogger wants people to use google chrome. I switched from ie to chrome and everything works fine.

  12. So happy to hear you sounding happier faerie :)
Any teasing I've done hasn't led to spankings but Mitch having access to my blog posts sure has!! Is there such a thing as 'overly consistent'? Lol! No complaints (yet) from me :)
And I've not had any probs with blogger but I'm using safari through my phone, it may be a different case on the laptop. Hopefully it will sort itself out.

  13. Thanks Dee, My teasing got me exactly what I wanted, lol. Musicman doesn't really know about the blog yet, but I think it may come up sometime soon.

I switched to google chrome and things seem to have cleared up, yay, I can talk to my friends again.
