Tidbits from a Frustrated Lurker

Yep, I'm the frustrated lurker. My computer is still not working right. Musicman spent quite a bit of time working on it Sunday. It's no better, in fact, it's worse. I can't access my e-mail or blogger or facebook any more. That's about all I use my computer for, so, I'm a bit lost without it. It frustrates me, and the urge to toss it into a wall is almost too much.

I can use Musicman's computer, but my time on it is limited. Plus, it's a desktop computer. That means I have to sit on a hard chair, which aggravates a back condition and leaves me in quite a bit of pain. Not the good kind of pain either. Plus, his keyboard is kinda gross. I want my laptop back. Any suggestions on how to fix it would be greatly appreciated.

I had an interesting weekend. One filled with weird kinda things, at least for me. We had Musicman's work Christmas party Saturday night. He told me I couldn't wear, my "do me" boots. He said, "the crowd is too vanilla for them."

It was a vanilla crowd, a bunch of redneck farmers really, yet, there was one man who decided he could disguise grabbing my ass by body slamming me into the bar. I guess that's what I get for wearing a mini skirt. It surprised me just a little bit because no one ever really messes with me when we are out. Musicman is usually on guard for those kind of things. He holds me close and makes sure everyone knows I'm his possession.

We finished the night with some wonderful playtime involving the magic paddle. Sunday morning started with a blowjob for him. So, when later I wasn't feeling very well, I really thought it was subdrop. Turns out it was the flu and I've just gotten out of bed after being sick for 2 1/2 days.

Musicman informed me last night that we could have gone to the strip club with some of his vanilla co-workers after the party. I admit to being happy that we chose to come to home and play, but, I do wonder about going to a strip club.

I've never been to one and admit to being somewhat curious about them. Musicman always says he's not interested in going to a club where he has to pay for the privilege of having a woman dance for him or show him her tits when he can get that for free at home. The fact that he says this to me while fondling me in front of the mirror just reinforces that. However, I would love the chance to dance on a pole. I think that might be the real reason he won't take me to a strip club.

Friday night featured a different direction he is taking things. One I haven't written much about yet, because, I'm still trying to digest all of it. It's a direction that I should have seen coming, but chose to ignore over the years. He's expanding my horizons, but confusing me at the same time.

I'd like to write more, explore more in this direction he is taking us, but, computer issues prevent that. Hopefully soon I will get my computer fixed and can explore that some more. Until then I will continue to  lurk and write when I can and hope ya'll understand.

  1. We understand. Doesn't mean we like it, but I'm computer illiterate, so I can't help you there.

I'll admit to a shameless curiosity about your different direction, and a completely selfish pout about your inability to comment.

Hope you continue to feel better, and your computer issues get fixed soon.

    1. Oh lil, I'm so FRUSTRATED with this thing!!!! You aren't the only one pouting about me not being able to comment, lol.

Hopefully, soon it will be fixed :)That's what we are hoping anyway, Musicman is tired of working on it.

  2. Faerie,
I would be lost without my laptop, I sure hope your's can be fixed soon. I'd love to hear about the direction you guys are going. But I don't want you hurting your back at his computer. But as soon as you can - I want to hear more.

    Hugs,

    1. I do feel a bit lost without my laptop. All my friends live in in, lol. We will figure something out, he is still working on it. While neither one of us minds sharing, it's not the ideal situation for us.

  3. Sorry you are having computer trouble. Is a wipe-everything-off-of-it in order? Restore it to a different point in time?

    1. We tried the restore to a different time with mixed results. I think our only choice is going to be wiping everything and startng over. I just have to do something about backing up some things first. He has limited time during the week to work on it, and I don't really know what I'm doing. It may take awhile, but I think we can fix it.

  4. Sorry your computer is down and out. I don't know your financial position but you can get a laptop for about 200. I've seen them advertised. Maybe Santa can help out.

    1. Yeah, I've begun to think that might be what we do. It's been acting up sporadically for awhile now, but it may be on it's last legs, lol. I just may have to have a "chat" with Santa, heeeheeheee ;D

  5. Wow, well where to start? I'm sorry you've been ill. We've had the flu at our house this season already - brutal! Have you thought of re-installing or restoring your operating system(make sure you have back-ups first). Reformatting if all else fails. What a pain.
Hmmm - new direction - how exciting! What on earth did Musicman do when some other creep grabbed your ass? OMG. The nerve!!! Yikes. Strip clubs are fascinating. You should go with Musicman and friends of YOURS sometime! If, for no other reason than research into life =)

    1. Brutal is a very good way to describe it, but I'm starting to finally feel human again, lol.

We tried restoring, I honestly don't know what else he has tried, but I'll ask him about those other things you mentioned.

Musicman didn't see it, he was across the room at the time. I asked him who the man was, then told him what happened. He told me he would have a talk with him, but before that happened the other guy came over and apolgized, then denied he did anything. He convieniently waited till I had left for the ladies room to do that. It's not a big deal at all, it is just one of those odd things for me. Musicman is usually always on guard and stays very close, but we were at a private party with people he works with so he was more relaxed.

  6. Like Julia suggests- can you do a wipe clean restore to factory condition? If you are only using it for email/blog/facebook then it might be okay to do ?

New direction has me intrigued as well. Can't wait to see your next update.

Hope all is well in computerland soon!

    1. I think a wipe clean is our next option. I do want to back some stuff first though. I'm not at all tech savvy and rely on him to fix it. He doesn't want to take it anywhere to have it fixed because of the personal stuff on it, like pics and such.

  7. You're missed. But don't hurt yourself - we can wait.

    What's the computer doing?

    1. I have some serious back issues and have learned how to manage that, sitting in this type of chair is a big no-no if it can be at all avoided. I'm already pushing it some, but I miss blogland :(

The computer does something different everytime I try to use but it never works well. At the best, I can read blogs and write mine, but I can't comment or post anything. At te worst, I can't sign in to email or blogger. He's trying to get it fixed, but it's not exactly priority for him during the week. I understand that and don't bug him about it. He's doing what he can, and hopefully soon it will be good again.

  8. I am so sorry yall have been sick:( And the computer thing.....what fiona said...that is what I would try! Cannot wait to hear about this new direction:) And the strip clubs.....we went with a group of friends and well, we had a blast....it was a fun experience. I have actually wanted to dance on a pole as well! We have a place in town that gives lessons and I have really considered doing it! But then....where would I get a pole! HA! And where in the heck would I put it! LOL!

Take care and we can't wait for you to come back once your computer is back up and running again:)

    Belle:)

    1. Thanks SmilingBelle :) I think you should take the classes. I've thought about getting a pole, even have a room to put one. Problem is that whole room needs redone and everytime I get ready to start, something happens and I put it off. Maybe someday...sigh :)

I wouldn't mind going to a strip club, but Musicman has always said no when friends have asked him. Again, maybe someday...sigh :)

    1. Thanks Fondles, hopefully the 'puter' will be on the mend soon. I hate not being able to talk to everyone. I'm not really known for being the shy, retiring type, yanno? Haahaahaa.

  10. Hope you feel better, faerie, and that your computer recovers from it's flu as well! Both Joy and I have been to strip clubs separately (back before we were a couple), but we've never been together. I wonder if it would be fun? Thanks for giving me something to think about. And like lil, I confess that I'm now curious about your new direction...

    1. I've never been to a strip club, I don't think Musicman has either. He has no desire to go either. He doesn't see the point of paying for something he can get for free. I can't argue with that kinda logic, lol.

I doubt you'll be too surprised, I know it's something you and Joy are familiar with :)

  11. I hope you can find someone to fix your computer for you. It's a small annoyance that can feel really huge.

Will look forward to hearing about your new directions.

    Feel better!

    1. LOL abby, you are so right :) Thank goodness Musicman is a whiz at fixing cars. If I could have commented the other day, I'd have offered his help :)

He's not as good at computers, but he's way better then I am.

  13. faerie: Sorry about the computer. For selfish reasons, I hope you get it fixed soon so you can tell us about this new direction. It's like a tease to say there is a new direction and not being able to tell us.

    1. Hi FD, I'm not sure how I missed you earlier. I didn't think about the fact that it is a tease saying that. Sorry :(

Hopefully soon I will get the computer fixed, or find the time and ability to write more soon.

  14. totally understand and hope the computer is remedied soon and when it is I look forward to hearing more. :-) And, I hope you feel better soon. Best wishes, Terpsichore
Dancing on a pole could be fun...except I have no upper body strengh and I need to lose about 30 pounds first...I always thought it would be fun to do a striptease for my husband with lots of scarves...mabe someday :-)

    1. Thanks Terpsichore, I'm doing much better. The computer is still pretty much down for the count, but maybe soon. Not being able to use email or blogger is not good for me. That's how I connect with my friends, and I miss that :)

Dancing on a pole would be a great upper body workout and a wonderful way to lose weight. I'd be thrilled if I only had 30 lbs to lose. As for doing the striptease for your hubby...girl...go for it. That's one of the reasons Musicman isn't interested in the stripclubs, I dance for him whenever he wants me too. Or, when the music moves me, lol. It's fun ;D

  15. Faerie, just bring your laptop around. I'll fix it for you. And I've never charged anything for that work.

Lately I'm reviving digital mortalities about once a week. These computer thingies are getting way to complicated for daily use.
But it keeps me popular in the family.

    1. Oh gosh, I totally wish I could. Musicman says I can't take it anywhere though, cause of the personal nature of the stuff on it. If you remember, I do like to play with my camera :) Yeah...I don't really want anyone seeing those pics either.
