Something I've Never Done Before

Wanna play a game?

Wow, that's some wild kinda hair!

If you look real close you can see some of my ink.

Daisy dukes and do me boots!

He won't let me wear these boots out of the house!

I have no idea why!

Hmmmm....is that a leather paddle?

Wonder what could be in my future?

Things here in my world are a bit of a mess. My computer isn't working at all well. I'm frustrated.  Writing has helped me so much and I feel as if  I've been silenced.  I can't really read or comment and am feeling a bit lost. I miss my friends and the opportunity to join the conversation.  It feels like I have no voice. I don't like that much, but, it's a reality I have to deal with for the moment.

My back is just starting to calm down, but every day life takes priority over writing. I have to live my life, not just write about it. I can't do both right now without debilitating pain. That's not a good thing.  The good part is playtime helps the pain go away. Thank goodness that continues uninterrupted.

Issues with the kids remain front and center. Being a Mom sucks sometimes. My kids continue to break my heart.  I continue to hang strong and when I feel weak I turn to Musicman for help. I'm grateful that he always has my back.

Experience tells me, we will get through this. I just don't don't know where it will leave us. Undoubtedly, stronger for having survived. I'm grateful for that.

  1. Kids can break your heart and lift you up like nothing else.

Christmas is coming, maybe Santa is going to bring you a new one.

Hope your back gets better soon and the kids shape up.

    1. Thanks Sunnygirl, things will get better, I know they will. I just have to practice some patience. I'm not so great at it, but I'm trying :)

  3. Yay, yay, yay. With just a few pictures I feel like I know you so much better the high school boy who played Dungeons and Dragons loves the sultry outfit combined with dice ;)

I think you need to tell Musicman to relent on the boot...maybe not with the shorts (thought the swinger in me hates to say that), but with a skirt it would be super hot but not too slutty.

Thank you for opening up to us all.

    1. I doubt those are the kind of dice you play dungeons and dragons with. They are spanking dice ;D

As for the boots, I doubt he's gonna change his mind anytime soon. He first saw them worn with a white denim mini skirt and a black cami. He loved it, and then told me I couldn't wear them out of the house, lol.

  4. We miss you, so hope that puter gets better soon...and your back too. One would think adult children would act like adults...I know from experience it doesn't always work that way.

    1. Yanno...it's really not fair that I find a community where I'm comfortable and then I can't visit when I want. But, as I've told the kids for years, life's not always fair, deal with it. Now it's time for me to take my own advice, lol.

    1. Thanks Mrs. D, my back is manageable if I don't sit for long periods at the computer. So, my time online is limited for now...sigh. Those boots are absolutely delicious, they fit like they were custom made for me :)

  6. Faerie: I can so relate to feeling silenced/not having a voice..but you do. I've just returned online after life taking centre stage but I found it helpful to just know I had carved out a little place for my voice to be heard and explored. *Hugs*

    1. I'm just frustrated right now because I can't write, or read and comment like I want to. Time to put my big girl pants on and suck it up I guess :)

  7. I miss you. I hope Santa does bring you a good computer. When life gangs up on me I retreat into writing - with a pad and pen if I have to, you can always post them later as you can type.

Enjoyed the pictures. Hope you can come here to play more often soon.

    Hugs,

    1. I miss you too!!! I've thought about writing by hand and then posting later, but I haven't done it, yet. Hopefully we will get something resolved soon.

I never really thought I would post pics of myself. But, I spent enough time taking them and downloading them and then couldn't do anything else with them, seemed like a waste.

    1. Thanks SirQsmlb, that's very kind of you to say. I rarely care for the way I look in pics and usually avoid the camera at all costs, lol. Musicman likes them though, so I am having fun with them.

  11. I love those boots!

I hope the kid problems settle. I completely get it all! sigh!

Hope your back improves. I have a bad back and when it hurts, it hampers every part of your life.

    1. If you knew how little I paid for them...you'd love them even more, lol :D

The back is doing some better, as long as I don't spend too much time at the computer. I miss it so much, but I can't handle waking up in a 104 year old body.

    1. Thanks tori, sorry I missed your comment earlier, for some reason blogger sometimes sends you to spam. If I knew how to fix that I would, cause I love hearing from you :)

  13. When Mommy has got such boots, I cannot imagine where the kids find the courage to still break your heart.
Kids problems will settle. They always do. In the end, they will have caused you more problems than it did to the kids. So try to get some distance.
Tell the kids you're strong enough now and don't need any more of those experiences to make you stronger.

    1. The kids haven't seen the boots, maybe I should show them, heeheehee. I could wear them when I tell them I don't need any more experiences to make me stronger, cause that's the god's honest truth right there. At least then I wouldn't have to look up at my son:)

  14. You know things will get better, hold on to that thought and to everything that makes you feel good. Nurture your relationship with Musicman and also that with your kids. Be kind to yourself and take care of your back.
Know that you are loved, and that we're here for you.

I loved the pictures, especially the one with the dice (yeah, I'm a gaming freak). Where did you get that d30?

    1. Those are spanking dice I ordered from Caneiac. abby told me about them :) One has numbers, one has positions and one has implements. I included them in the pics to invite him to play with me.

I know everything will work out, it's just not happening as quickly as I would like...oh well.

    1. Thanks Conina, those boots not only look amazing, but they are surprisingly comfortable and I got a great deal on them too :D

I'm not so sure about the brave part, foolish perhaps, lol. I just figured, not too bad for a woman so close to 50 I can smell it, lol. Hopefully we will get everything worked out soon and I can be here regularly again.

    1. Thanks Jake, I admit, I was a bit nervous about posting those pics, but I spent quite a bit of time on them (there are more that only Musicman will ever see) and I felt like sharing some.

I hate having anything on my feet and am almost always barefoot. But, I just had to have those boots from the moment I saw them.

  20. Hey there - sorry I missed this when it first posted - but I have to say Yowza - the hair is amazing and the boots are good too, but I agree - why can't you wear them out? (Truly confused - it is nice to look hot for them, isn't it?)

    :)

    1. Thanks Kitty, the hair was a bit wind blown that day, lol. I can't wear the boots out of the house because he's a very possesive man. He loves how I look, but he doesn't want anyone else looking, or touching, or speaking to me. It's how he's always been :)
